Here are several projects that i've done that incorporate set design, industrial design and experiential design among other things.

The first series of pictures is from my graduate thesis, called The Layover. This installation (an airline terminal made almost entirely out of cardboard, situated in the lobby of the design department) was an experiential statement that asked the viewer to re-evaluate their expectations about higher education as well as their roles within the institution.

It juxtaposed one's higher education experience with the highly securitized and commodified process of going through an airline terminal. By drawing parallels between the two experiences, the installation presented the idea that higher education has become less an actual destination for people and more like an interim waiting period prior to one's "true" destination. The environment created by the Layover attempted to show (in a humorous way) just how detrimental this way of thought can be to the intellectual and creative growth of the student.

Another project you see here is called Chompi - this was my solution to an assignment that called for students to create a modular product and its branding. I was trying to make something that was unexpected in a world full of bland modularity.
